Hospital, Tampa.
She was born in Montrose, Colo., and moved to this area 15 years ago
from Virginia Beach, Va. She was a retired health department secretary
in Norfolk, Va., and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include her husband, Charles; a daughter, Cindy Brown of

Pearl L. Lawrence, 80, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Feb. 17, at Oak
Hill Hospital.
She moved to this area 20 years ago from Toledo, Ohio. She was an LPN
and had worked at Toledo Mental Health Center for 21 years before retiring
in 1975. She was a lifelong member of Salem United Church of Christ, Toledo,
and was an active member of the Spring Hill United Church of Christ. She
organized the Happy Wanderers travel group and was its director and tour
guide on many local trips as well as trips around the U.S. and Europe.
Survivors include her son, David Aubry of Cocoa; a brother, Carol Sisco
of Toledo; and three grandchildren, Ann, Sara and Marc.

Betty Boorse Schmidt of Green Cove Springs, formerly of Spring Hill,

Baptist Church, Orlando.

Hermon, Maine. He was a retired budget officer for Hernando County for
13 years, a member of the Moose Lodge, Spring Hill, Elks Lodge 244 and
Shriners Lodge, both of Bangor, Maine, and Masonic Lodge, Hermon, and a
Catholic by faith.
