He was born in Willard, Ky., and moved to this area 30 years ago from Dayton-Xenia, Ky. He retired from GM after 30 years of service. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, having served in Europe, and attended Spring Hill Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include his wife, Verna Pennington Bush; a son, James of Ozark, Mo.; a daughter, Rita Sonnino of Tipp City, Ohio; four brothers, Ernest and Don, both of Grayson, Ky., and Clyde Jr. and Vernon, both of Lebanon, Ohio; two sisters, Esther Green and Bonnie Kappes, both of Lebanon; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was born in Waterman, Ill., and moved to this area three years ago from Gulfport. She was a manager for Unicorn Restaurant, St. Petersburg Beach, and a member of Mariner United Methodist Church, Spring Hill, and the craft group at the church.

She was born in Clearwater and moved to this area five years ago from New Port Richey. She was a teacher at Hernando Christian Academy for 10 years and was a member of First Assembly of God, New Port Richey, and Gideons International Auxiliary.

Mirko "Merk" E. Boltauzer, 88, of Brooksville, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000, at Eastbrooke Health Care Center.
He was born in Europe and moved to this area 24 years ago from Willowick, Ohio. He was a member of Brooksville Golf and Country Club and Cleveland Carpenters Local 212.
Survivors include his son, Paul David of San Diego, Calif.; two sisters, Elsie Denton of Phoenix, Ariz., and Deloris Metcalfe of Espybille Station, Pa.; and five grandchildren.

He was born in Drayton, S.C., and moved to this area 11 years ago from Arnold, Md. He was a supervisor with Civil Service at Ft. Mead Army Post, Arnold, for 27 years and a member of Annapolis Masonic Lodge 89 F&AM, Annapolis, Md., and Lake Lindsey Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; three daughters, Cynthia Jones, April Jones and Paige, all of Brooksville; a brother, Summie C. Jr. of Crownsville, Md.; two sisters, Jean Frank and Martha Gale, both of Cowpens, S.C.; and five grandchildren.

Maria G. Lofink, 81, of Brookridge, Brooksville, died Friday, Dec. 31, in Spring Hill.
She was born in Hanover, Germany, and moved to this area 25 years ago from Madison, Ohio. She was a circus trapeze artist in Europe and is best known locally as the "Singing Waitress" at Guido's Restaurant, Spring Hill.
She is survived by her stepbrother, Edgar of Germany.

Mabel A. Whittle, 96, of Brooksville, formerly of Clover Leaf, died Friday, Dec. 31, at Eastbrooke Health Care Center.

Leonard "Jack" J. Bray Jr., 73, of Brooksville, died Sunday, Jan. 2, at Brooksville Health Care Center.
He was a lifelong resident of Brooksville, retired owner and operator of Bray's Pest Control, and a World War II U.S. Air Force navigator instructor veteran.
Survivors include his aunt, Inez Smith of Inverness; three cousins, all of Inverness; and his friend, John Schmitt of Brooksville.

She moved to this area 21 years ago from her native Yonkers, N.Y. She retired from Mt. Vernon New York Hospital as a nurse's aide after 20 years of service and was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include three sons, John and Brian, both of Spring Hill, and Martin of Clearwater; a sister, Claire Pasqua of Spring Valley, N.Y.; two brothers, Anthony Racioppi of York Town Heights, N.Y., and Carmine Racioppi of Yonkers; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was a retired machinist with Pratt & Whitney Small Tool Co., West Hartford, Conn., and a member of the Pratt & Whitney Men's Club of West Hartford, and the Royal Arc Masons and Washington Lodge No. 7, both of Connecticut.

Linda Susan Pedersen, 54, of Timber Pines, Spring Hill, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, in Weeki Wachee.
She was born in Corry, Pa., and moved to this area 17 years ago from Clearwater, where she lived for 44 years. She was a third party manager for Eckerd Corporation, Clearwater, a graduate of Clearwater High School and attended Eckerd College, a charter member of Nativity Lutheran Church, Weeki Wachee, a member of the Sons of Norway, HELP (Hernando Environmental Land Protectors), Gulf Coast Conservancy, Hernando County Chamber of Commerce, PetLuv Spay & Neuter Clinic, and served on the Board of Directors and worked in publicity for the Weeki Wachee Swamp Fest.
She is survived by her husband, Odd "Pete".

He was born in Buffalo, N.Y., and moved to this area 12 years ago from Rochester, N.Y. He retired after 40 years with Eastman Kodak as an inspector. He was a World War II Ex-P.O.W. and a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Rita; two sons, John of Interlaken, N.Y., and James of Virginia; six daughters, Margaret "Peggy" Riorden of Perry, N.Y., Theresa Richardson of Kodiak, Alaska, Maria Macko and Barbara, both of Rochester, Patricia Harper of Rhode Island and Christine Collins of Brooksville; 19 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was born in Knoxville, Tenn., and moved to this area 25 years ago. He was a U.S. Army veteran, retired from the U.S. Postal Service, and a member of Corner Stone Christian Church.
Survivors include three sons, Robert Wesley Jr. of Oakland Park, Gary M. of Buford, Ga., and Kenneth Brian of Orange Park; a daughter, Dorothea Frazier of Brooksville; and eight grandchildren.

Edward "Ted" Adams, 73, of Sugarmill Woods, Homosassa, died Thursday, Jan. 6, at his home.
He was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to this area 16 years ago from Miami. He was a Korean War U.S. Navy veteran, a former career television broadcaster, having served with NBC Film Sales, Westinghouse Broadcasting Co. general sales manager for K.D.K.A. TV, Pittsburgh, executive vice president and general manager for W.C.I.X. TV, Miami, after which he retired 15 years ago. He was also a director and board chairman of W.E.D.U. TV, Tampa.

He was a Methodist by faith.
