He was born in Forestville, N.Y., and moved to this area 14 years ago from Batavia, N.Y. He was a minister, former Chaplain at Spring Hill Regional Hospital, past president of Spring Hill Regional Hospital Volunteers, and a member of Spring Hill Wesleyan Church.

She was a graduate of West Bethlehem Township High School, went to California State Teachers' College and was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. She was a retired teacher from Waynesburg, Pa.; a member of the Pennsylvania State Education Association, the Spring Hill Garden Club, the Heather Ladies Golf Club and Stage West Community Theatre.
She is survived by her husband, Ray; a daughter, Cheryl Hardwick Moore of Hilo, Hawaii; a brother, Robert W. Muchant of Fredericktown, Pa.; four sisters, Jessie and Singadine Muchant and Elaine Croft, all of Marianna, and Edith Priddle of Sebring; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a retired police officer for Suffolk County, N.Y., with 28 years of service, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, president of the Spring Hill Chapter of the National Association of Retired Law Enforcement Officers (NARLEO), a member of the Moose Lodge 521 and American Legion Post 186, both of Spring Hill, Emerald Society of Suffolk County, and Suffolk County Police Alumni Association, and a Catholic by faith.
