William Studwell Lawson
William Studwell Lawson, 82, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, August
7, at Bayonet Point Hospital.
He was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and moved to this area 33 years ago
from Virginia Beach, Va. He was a retired U.S. Navy Rank Commander, serving
during World War II, and a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include three sons, John of Hernando Beach, and Charles and
Michael, both of Annapolis, Md.; a sister, Jane Martin of Aiken, S.C.;
and three grandchildren.

Robert E. Hart, Sr.
Robert E. Hart, Sr., 76, of Brooksville, died Saturday, August 7, at
his home.
He was a native of Kendallville, Ind., and moved to this area 16 years
ago from Adrian, Mich. He was a retired letter carrier for the U.S. Postal
System and a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, and a member of the National
Association of Letter Carriers, American Legion Post 99, Brooksville, and
Mariner United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Olive; two sons, Robert E. Jr. of Flagler
Beach and Joe of Lincoln Park, Mich.; a daughter, Sherrie Jaqua of Eben
Junction, Mich.; two stepsons, Mark Smith of Aurora, Colo., and David Smith
of Adrian; a stepdaughter, Sherrie Salazar of Adrian; three sisters, Clemethene
Hornett of Kendallville, Patsy Fye of Port Orange, and Beverly Carroll
of Holly Hill; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and eight
step-grandchildren.

Anna Bialkowski, 91, of Brooksville, died Sunday, August 8, at her
home.
She was born in Chicago, Ill. She was a homemaker and a Lutheran by
faith.

Mary Magdaline Kish
Mary Magdaline Kish, 74, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, August 8, at
Oak Hill Hospital.
She was born in Chicago and moved to this area 15 years ago from Chicago.
She was a retired secretary and attended St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church,
Spring Hill.
Survivors include her husband, Frank; a son, Frank of Duquoin, Ill.;
a daughter, Mary Beth of Blue Island, Ill.; a sister, Bridget Kapin of
Jersey City, N.J.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Theresa A. Garti, 85, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, August 8, at her
home.
She was a native of Queens, N.Y., and moved to this area 12 years ago
from Barryville, N.H. She was a retired bookkeeper for an art manufacturing
company and a member of the New York State Club of Spring Hill and St.
Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include her son, Richard D. of Spring Hill; and three grandchildren.

William Walter Geier
William Walter Geier, 74, of Brooksville, died Monday, August 9, at
Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Paterson, N.J., and moved to this area 44 years from
Paterson. He was a retired chef and a lifetime member of the VFW.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph of Bradenton and Peter of Clifton,
N.J.; three daughters, Peggy Blankenship of Phoenix, Ariz., Patty Cokley
of Silverton, Ore., and Kathy Delorme of Brooksville; a brother, John of
the Fiji Islands; a sister, Madeline Corris of Fairfield, Pa.; two grandchildren;
and two great-grandchildren.
