Santiago Rexach, 47, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, June 19, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa.
Born in New York City, he moved to this area a year ago. He was an automobile mechanic and a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
He is survived by his sons, Anthony A. of Norfolk, Va. and James S. of Virginia Beach, Va.; his mother, Victoria of Spring Hill; two brothers, Victor N. of El Paso, Texas and James M. of Tampa; and one granddaughter.

Arthur F. "Pete" Davis
Arthur F. "Pete" Davis, 77, of Weeki Wachee, died Thursday, June 17, at Spring Hill Regional Hospital.
Born in Amesbury, Mass., he moved to this area eight years ago from Lakeland. He was a retired major of the United States Air Force; a veteran of World War II and the Korean War; a member of VFW Post #121, TROA (Retired Officers Association), Bombardier Inc. and BPO Elks Lodge #2582, Brooksville.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda L.; a son, Peter H. of Leconia, N.H.; three daughters, Pamela Adams of Weston, Va., Melinda Drew and Traci Davis, both of Weeki Wachee; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

John G. Mason, 74, of High Point in Brooksville, died Saturday, June 19, at his home.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he moved to this area 20 years ago from Stow, Ohio. He was an automobile and truck mechanic; a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran of WWII; and a Protestant by faith.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine of Cleveland Heights, Ohio; a sister, Helen Duke of Cleveland Heights, Ohio; and one grandson.

Charles W. Tousignant, 75, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, June 19, at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, Tampa.
Born in Detroit, Mich., he moved to this area 10 years ago from Roseville, Mich. He was a U.S. Navy and Army veteran serving in WWII and Korea. He was a member of the American Legion #186; a life member of the VFW-Corporal Walter F. Bruce Chapter; and a Catholic by faith.
He is survived by two daughters, Dorine of Spring Hill and JoAnn Savage of Mich.; two sons, Mark of Spring Hill and Dean of Mich.; a brother, Joseph William of Spring Hill; two sisters, Corrine Pudsyz of Holiday and Rose Kulas of Michigan; and four grandchildren.

Angelina "Julie" Hetsko, 78, of River Country in Spring Hill, died Monday, June 21, at Oak Hill Hospital.
Born in Masbeth, N.Y., she moved to this area 18 years ago from Williston Park, N.Y. She retired from Sperry in Long Island and was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church.
She is survived by two sisters, Eleanor Rakowski of River Country and Elizabeth Gianassio of California; a brother, Michael of Centereach, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.

Rocco E. Summa, 71 of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, June 22, at his home.
He came here eight years ago from his native Brooklyn, N.Y. He retired from Dairy Crest Ice Cream Co., was an Army veteran, member of F.O.E. and member of St. Theresa Catholic Church.
He is survived by a son, Lenny Summa of Clearwater; two sisters, Elizabeth Columbo of Spring Hill and Rose Damato of Long Beach, N.Y.; and one brother, Ruddy Summa of Long Beach.

Helen J. Husek, 80, of Brooksville died Tuesday, June 22, at her home.
She was born in St. Louis and came to this area 25 years ago from Bloomdale, Ohio. She was a homemaker and attended St. Anthony Catholic Church.
She is survived by a son, Ralph Husek of Cygnet, Ohio; three daughters, Mary Walker of Findlay, Ohio, Patty Pelton of Fotoria, Ohio and Cindy Cole of North Baltimore, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Born in Irvington, N.J., she moved to this area 12 years ago from West Orange, N.J. She was a retired legal secretary for a New Jersey law firm, a member of the B'Nai Brith Organization, the Scleroderma Foundation and Jewish by faith.
She is survived by her husband, Manfred of Brooksville; a son, Sanford of Flanders, N.J.; three daughters, Lisa Greene of Oldsmar, Marcy Ziemba of Mooers, N.Y. and Lori Alter of Short Hills, N.J.; a sister, Blanche Cohen of Spring Hill; and three grandchildren.

She is survived by a niece, Magaly Soto of Spring Hill; a great-niece, Jessica Rodriguez of Spring Hill; and a nephew, Juan Rodriguez of Arlington, Va.

Raymond Wilson Underwood, Jr., 87, of Brooksville, died Saturday, June 26, at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
Born in La Grange, Ga., he moved to this area 73 years ago from there. He was a 50-year member and past Master of Hernando Lodge #97 F&AM; past president of the Brooksville Kiwanis Club; a member of the Brooksville Lions Club; a county commissioner from 1950-54, serving a term as chairman; and a deacon of the First Baptist Church, Brooksville. With his brothers, he owned and operated R.W. Underwood and Sons Lumber Company of Brooksville.
He is survived by his wife, Edna; two sons, Raymond Joel and Alan (Woody), both of Brooksville; a stepdaughter, Susan Wall of Brooksville; a brother, Bill of Brooksville; three sisters, Mamie Boyette of Tarpon Springs, Margaret Dawson of Auburn, Ala. and Emily McKeown of West Point, Ga.; four grandchildren, Tyrus of Florida, Allison Eldridge of Tennessee and Christy and Catherine Wall of Brooksville.

Harold Joseph Schaefer, Sr., 93, of Spring Hill, died Friday, June 25, at his caregiver's home.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he moved to this area five years ago from Franklin Square, N.Y. He was a retired truck driver for UPS and a Catholic by faith.
He is survived by his two sons, Harold Jr. of Spring Hill and Francis of California; nine grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Born in Bowerston, Ohio, he moved to this area 18 years ago from Westfield, N.Y. He was a retired mechanical engineer with Wahl Co. in Brocton, N.Y., a Mason of 60 years and a Protestant by faith.
He is survived by his wife, Mabel; a son, Brian M. of Osmond Beach; two daughters, Barbara A. Busby of Canton, Ohio and Beverly Chastain of Tampa; a brother, Frank P. of New Castle, Penn.; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Florence E. Buffat, 95, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, June 27, at her daughter's home.
Born in Louisville, Ky., she moved to this area seven years ago from there. She was a former co-owner of J. George Buffat Inc. of Louisville, Ky; an honorary member of the Kentucky Association of Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Contractors Auxiliary; and attended Mariner United Methodist Church, Spring Hill.
She is survived by a son, John H. of Louisville, Ky.; a daughter, Betty Joyce Buffat McCoy of Brooksville; a sister, Evelyn Isaacs of Spring Hill; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Hazel E. Chapman, 82, a lifelong resident of Brooksville, died Saturday, June 26, at Heartland of Brooksville.
She retired from the Hernando County School System as a dietitian supervisor and was a member of First United Methodist Church, Brooksville.
Survivors include two brothers, Clyde Daniel of Brooksville and Herbert Daniel of Titusville; a sister, Louise Fagan of Lake Iola; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area 10 years ago from Staten Island, N.Y. He retired from the U.S. Veterans Hospital, Bronx, N.Y., was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, and a member of the Knights of Columbus 11317 and St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his son, Vincent, Jr. of Spring Hill; two brothers, John of New Jersey and Ed of Maryland; two sisters, Millie Lombardi and Dollie Grezzo, both of Maryland; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
