Mrs. Tankersley was born Dec. 23, 1922, in Beaumont, Texas, to Jerry
and Shirley M. (Morris) McNeel, who are deceased. She was married June
22, 1940, to William A. Tankersley.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Jessie; a daughter-in-law, Mary
L.; a brother, Dan McNeel; five grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, William Ray.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Evergreen Cemetery,
1005 S. Hancock Ave. Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., 475-8303,
is handling arrangements. |
