She is survived by two sons, Robert Jr. and Scott; a brother, Vernon Brown; a sister, Rose Philips; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Allen.

Mrs. Tucker, 90, died July 23, 2000, in Colorado Springs. She was a senior center director's assistant.
Mrs. Tucker was born Feb. 15, 1910, in Thornage, England, to Frank and Ethel May (Coleman) Lee, who are deceased. She was married Sept. 30, 1944, to Benjamin Franklin Tucker, who is deceased.
She is survived by three sons, Albert Lee, Benjamin F. Tucker III and Lindsey Tucker; three daughters, Audrey Chambers, Dorothy Motion and Ann VanDyke; four brothers; 16 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Frank Lee.

RUBY M. RICHARDSON
Ruby, 86, died July 25, 2000, in Colorado Springs. She retired from the staff at a hospital.
Ruby was born July 18, 1914, in Ringgold, Ga.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Greene; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

SHONE DALE NORGAARD
Mr. Norgaard, 31, died July 22, 2000, in Colorado Springs. He served as a medic in the Army for 12 years.
Mr. Norgaard was born Feb. 22, 1969, in Seoul, South Korea. He was married June 12, 1992, to Stacey Alyson McGrew.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Logan Tanner Norgaard and Brandon James Douthit; a daughter, Kaitlyn Arlene; his adoptive parents, Eudale and Judith Norgaard; and two brothers, Shane Dean and Shannon Dane.

Mr. Hall, 46, died July 25, 2000, at a local hospital. He was an assistant principal for Coronado High School in School District 11.
Mr. Hall was born Dec. 15, 1953, in Lincoln, Neb., to Harold L. and Bertha Hall. His mother is deceased. He was married Aug. 20, 1977, to Marie Orleans.
He is survived by his wife; his father; a brother, Larry; and a sister, Janet Bremer.

Mr. Husser, 63, a Colorado Springs resident, died July 24, 2000, in Denver. He was an engineer and a ski instructor.
Mr. Husser was born Sept. 17, 1936, in Princeton, Ill., to Warren E. and Lola Mae (Trimmer) Husser, who are deceased. He was married March 25, 1961, to Geraldine Smith.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Scott and Ryan; and a daughter, Andrea.

Mrs. Cordova was born Aug. 5, 1935, in Staten Island, N.Y., to Walter and Margaret (Ward) Donovan, who are deceased. She was married Sept. 29, 1956, to Benjamin Cordova.
She is survived by her husband; three sons, Benjamin Jr., David Charles and Thomas Edward; two daughters, Teresa Cordova and Victoria Osborne; a brother, Joseph Donovan; three sisters, Vickie Nasert, Eleanor Donovan and Veronica Peterson; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Melodie Ann; and seven brothers.

COTTON GORDON
Mr. Gordon, 69, died July 25, 2000, at his home in Colorado Springs. He was an area rancher and a professional African safari hunter. He served in the Navy for four years.
Mr. Gordon was born Aug. 26, 1930, in Austin, Texas. He was married Dec. 31, 1952, to Joan Vernon.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Patrick Wynne; and two brothers, W.M. Mack Gordon and Edward Cheadle.

Mr. Wittwer, 75, died July 24, 2000, at a local hospital. He retired from civil service and served in the Navy.
Mr. Wittwer was born Nov. 27, 1924, in Paoli, Wis., to Herman and Sylvia (Streiff) Wittwer, who are deceased. He was married Oct. 5, 1946, to Mildred Beyer.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Diane Stephens and Joanne Seltz; two sisters, Lee Johnson and Jean Pfister; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters.

Mr. Eggleston, 20, died July 25, 2000, in Colorado Springs. He was a cabinetmaker.
Mr. Eggleston was born Feb. 9, 1980, in Cañon City to Shirley M. (Buffum) and Jim R. Eggleston.
He is survived by his parents; two sisters, Kristine D. Marante and Korine L. Davies; his paternal grandfather, Norman Eggleston; and his maternal grandmother, Ruth Buffum.

Mrs. Dufresne, 77, a former Colorado Springs resident, died July 24, 2000, in Apple Valley, Calif. She was a retired florist and former owner and operator of Apple Valley and Victor Valley florists.
Mrs. Dufresne was born March 30, 1923, in Los Angeles to Jake Watts and Louise E. Long, who are deceased.
She is survived by a son, Jeffrey B. Dufresne; a daughter, Cynthia J. Dudley-Barton; a stepson, Robert L. Dufresne; a brother, Steve Watts; two sisters, Joanne Watts and Florence Eigenhaur; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bert Watts and Joe Watts.

GEORGE E. BURKE
Mr. Burke, 86, a former Colorado Springs resident, died July 16, 2000, in Hot Springs, Ark. Around 1950 he was a writer and editor at the now-defunct Colorado Springs Free Press newspaper. 
He was also a former farm and ranch editor at the Gazette Telegraph. He founded and operated an advertising agency in Colorado Springs, Advertising Associates.
In the early '60s, he was an assistant editor of Western Horseman magazine. In 1965, he was editor of the magazine of Professional Engineers of Colorado and the Empress Chinchilla magazine. He also ran for the Colorado Senate.
Mr. Burke was born March 12, 1914, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Edward Leo Burke and Daphine Ollie Mary Southwick, who are deceased. He was married Jan. 14, 1939, to Judy Irene Fachman.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Paul W.; a daughter, Dee Dee de Rosa; a sister, Audré Morris; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Mr. Harper was born May 12, 1934, in Monroe, La., to Alonzo and Mattie Harper, who are deceased. He was married Dec. 29, 1984, to Barbara Gordon.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Elvin Jr.; six daughters, Nicole Oneal, Charrise Moolenoar, Brenda Harper, Gwen Harper, Vanessa Harper and Joann Fairfax; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. 
He was preceded in death by a sister, Octovia McGlover.

Mr. Perea, 50, a longtime Colorado Springs resident, died July 26, 2000, in Fort Collins.
Mr. Perea was born Feb. 5, 1950, in Center, to Albert J. and Virginia (Archuleta) Perea. His father is deceased.

JOE ART JOHNSON
Mr. Johnson, 84, a longtime Colorado Springs resident, died July 29, 2000, in Pueblo. He worked at the Gold Cycle Mill in Colorado Springs before World War II. He served in the Army from 1942 to 1946. He built and operated J's Motel and Drive-In until his retirement. He served as the Potentate of the Al Kaly Shrine in 1978.
Mr. Johnson was born Dec. 17, 1915, in Erie, Kan., to James M. and Ada (Kyle) Johnson, who are deceased. He was married May 5, 1946, to L'Jeane Cramer.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Tim; a daughter, Debra Lockett; a brother, James Johnson; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, William.

After the services, a reception will be at the Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center, 975 S. Union Blvd. Entombment will be at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum Alcove of Free Masons.
