Mrs. Wilson, 93, died June 28, 2000, at a local hospital. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Wilson was born Oct. 15, 1906, in Muscotah, Kan., to Edwin Stanton and Sadie E. (Speer) Woodworth, who are deceased. She was married Sept. 21, 1934, to Ralph R. Wilson, who is deceased.
She is survived by a sister, Jean Cornett. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marguerite Mulligan and Mabel Hawk.

Mrs. Swanson, 56, died July 2, 2000, in Colorado Springs. She was a truck driver.
Mrs. Swanson was born Jan. 28, 1944, in Cottonwood Falls, Kan., to Julius and Beulah McClellon. Her father is deceased. She was married Nov. 2, 1978, to William R. "Bill" Swanson.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Daniel Martin; four daughters, Nancy Newth, Teresa Morris, Anita Miller and Shelly Castleberry; a stepson, David Swanson; a stepdaughter, Julie Kilpatrick; her mother; five brothers, Gene McClellon, Harold McClellon, Gary McClellon, Larry McClellon and Randy McClellon; two sisters, Carol McClellon and Cheryl Hunley; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Mrs. Huntsman, 89, died July 1, 2000, at a local care center after a long illness. She worked at Van Briggle Pottery for seven years and at ABC Kiddie Shop for 11 years.
Mrs. Huntsman was born Jan. 13, 1911, in Russell, Kan., to Perry and Nancy Lee (McBride) Malin, who are deceased. She was married June 10, 1939, to Dean George Huntsman.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Nancy L. Catt-Webb; a granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.

VIRGIL B. HAGGSTROM
Mr. Haggstrom, 86, died July 2, 2000, at a local care center. He retired from Safeway.
Mr. Haggstrom was born May 29, 1914, in St. Paul, Neb., to John A. and Segrid (Lagerquist) Haggstrom, who are deceased. 
He was married Nov. 3, 1993, to Leona Pounds.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, John A. and Terry L.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Lou Cummings; and a brother.

Alexis was born July 2, 2000, in Colorado Springs.

Mrs. Harell, 90, died July 1, 2000, in Colorado Springs. She was an administrative assistant in the medical and legal fields.
Mrs. Harell was born June 23, 1910, in Gladstone, Mich., to Karl J. and Anna (Fallstrom) Olson, who are deceased. She was married Jan. 29, 1938, to Carl Y. Harell, who is deceased.
She is survived by a son, Kent S.; two daughters, Doris L. Garberson and Marlis D. Egbert; two sisters, Mildred E. Olson and A. Lenore Stitt; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

ELZORA PENNINGTON
Elzora, 58, died June 30, 2000, in Colorado Springs.
She worked in the maintenance department at King Soopers.
Elzora was born May 19, 1942, in Pueblo to Lee Pennington and Minnie Morgan, who are deceased.
She is survived by two sons, Lonnel and Billy; a daughter, Ruth; three brothers, Jimmy Pennington, Eddie Pennington and Curtis McGhee; five sisters, Clara Watkins, Henrietta McGhee, Patricia McGhee, Geraldine Lively and Nadine Pennington; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Lively; and a sister, Annabell Pennington.
No services are planned.

She was married to Harold E. Richardson, who is deceased.
She is survived by a son, R. Stanley Richardson; two daughters, Edith Margaret Wolf and Linda McKinney; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Silberman, 98, died June 29, 2000, in Colorado Springs. She was a novelist.
Mrs. Silberman was born Oct. 28, 1901, in New York City to Charles Henry Truax and Caroline Sanders, who are deceased.
She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn A. Frost; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Yama was born April 6, 1920, in Kearny, Pa., to Joseph and Helen Yama, who are deceased. He was married June 26, 1976, to Martha Campbell.
He is survived by his wife; a son, John; two daughters, Patricia Weaver and Cathy Ubben; two stepsons, Ed Campbell and Jack Campbell; two stepdaughters, Arlene Smith and Carol Searson; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Rector was born Jan. 7, 1939, in Detroit to Andrew and Bessie Taylor, who are deceased. She was married Dec. 24, 1967, to Ernest Rector.

Dr. Simons was born July 23, 1925, in Rush Springs, Okla., to Pugh and Willie Belle (Franklin) Simons, who are deceased. He was married Oct. 28, 1944, to Treba Leora Shotts.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Lynda Rhoades; two sons, Mike and Mark; a sister, LuVeta Blades; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Pugh D.

Mr. Wallace, 67, died July 3, 2000, in Colorado Springs. He was a postal carrier and retired as a chief master sergeant from the Air Force.
Mr. Wallace was born June 4, 1933, in Somerset, Ky., to John William and Bonnie (Wesley) Wallace, who are deceased. He was married in February 1957 to Carmeta Holmes.

Mr. Johnson, 77, died July 4, 2000, in Colorado Springs. He was a retired civil service aircraft mechanic.
Mr. Johnson was born June 2, 1923, in Mapleton, Utah, to John William Johnson and Henrietta Marie Hales, who are deceased. He was married Sept. 21, 1947, to Betty Jean Lukrofka.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Ross Allen, Mark Wells and Quintin William; two daughters, Judith Marie Sommerfeldt and Susan Johnson Wiser; 23 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Mark, Louis and Robert; and two sisters, Madge Thorn and May Miller.

RETIRED LT. COL. CARL E. HEDMAN
Lt. Col. Hedman, 84, a Colorado Springs resident, died July 1, 2000, in Aurora. He retired as a civil engineer from the Air Force civil service at the Chidlaw Building. He served in the Army for 30 years.
Lt. Col. Hedman was born Jan. 16, 1916, in Drayton, N.D., to Peter and Carolyn (Sjogren) Hedman, who are deceased. He was married May 16, 1943, to June E. Jacobus, who is deceased. He was then married in 1984 to Nina Cupford.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Gary and Carl E. II; a daughter, Laurie J.; a brother, Paul; a sister, Mildred Granger; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen and Elizabeth.

Mrs. Wittrock was born Dec. 13, 1933, in Rulo, Neb., to Antone Gerwick and Dora Schulenburg, who are deceased. She was married Sept. 19, 1954, to Ed Wittrock.
