Mrs. Hoffmann, 98, died March 8, 2001, at a local care center. She
retired from a 29- year career with the County Extension Agent's Office
and various government bureaus in Amarillo, Texas, and Ent Air Force Base
in Colorado Springs.
Mrs. Hoffmann graduated from Colorado Springs High School in 1921.
She was born Aug. 30, 1902, in Colorado Springs, to William and Elizabeth
(Buchsbaum) Crump, who are deceased.
She was married to Robert M. Fraser, who is deceased. She was then
married to J. Karl Hoffmann, who is deceased.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Norma Fraser, of Colorado Springs;
a cousin, Stanley Griffiths, of California; two grandsons, Steven Fraser,
of Westminster, and Scott Fraser, of Fountain; five great-grandchildren,
Tommy Pons, Michael Fraser, Amanda Fraser, Michelle Fraser and Chase Fraser;
and a great-great-granddaughter, Angelina Terry-Pons. She was preceded
in death by a son, Robert W. Fraser; and two sisters, Elizabeth Traylor
and Lillian Montgomery.

MARGARET ANN "PEG" HOLWICK
Mrs. Holwick, 69, a Colorado Springs resident, died March 9, 2001,
in Clearwater, Fla. She was a homemaker and received the Colorado Springs
Goodwill Volunteer of the Year award in 1984.
Mrs. Holwick was born June 28, 1931, in Belvidere, Ill., to Howard
and Magda (Austad) Frye, who are deceased. She was married Feb. 6, 1952,
to retired Army Col. William B. Holwick.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, the Rev. William D. Holwick,
of Ledgewood, N.J., and Lt. Col. John S. Holwick, of Seoul, South Korea;
a daughter, Kristin L. Gerber, of Arlington, Va.; and 11 grandchildren.

Mrs. Salazar, 74, died March 9, 2001, at a local hospital. She was
a homemaker.
Mrs. Salazar was born Dec. 11, 1926, in Antonito, to Juan L. and Bernadita
(Duran) Vigil, who are deceased. She was married to Felix D. Salazar.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Thomas Martinez; two daughters,
Gloria and Monica; two sisters, Stella Martinez and Lupy Rodriguez; 10
grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death
by a sister, Cornelia Trujillo.

Mr. Gilpatrick was born May 21, 1956, in Cambridge, Mass., to Arlo
E. and Anne R. (Hornyak) Gilpatrick. His mother is deceased. He was married
Oct. 24, 1994, to Lorae J. Graham.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Heather N.; and his father.

Mrs. O'Sullivan, 94, a former Colorado Springs resident, died March
5, 2001, in Casper, Wyo. She worked for a short time for the FBI, Brown
Brothers Corp. and was a manager for the Delano Apartment Complex.
Mrs. O'Sullivan was born Jan. 28, 1907, in Colorado Springs, to David
Isaac and Mabel (Nichols) Flatt, who are deceased. She was married to William
V. O'Sullivan, who is deceased.
She is survived by a brother, David Enos Flatt, of Grand Junction;
four nieces; four nephews; and numerous great and great-great-nieces and
nephews.

May 10, 1959, to Bailey Joe Poindexter, who is deceased.

16, 1955, to Enoch L. Johnson Sr.

Templeton.

Mr. Zavatti, 68, died March 12, 2001, at a local hospital. He was co-founder
of Commercial Design Engineering. He retired in 1994 as a mechanical contractor.
Mr. Zavatti was born Sept. 22, 1932, in Casano, Italy, to Nicola and
Constatina (Guadagnoli) Zavatti, who are deceased. He was married June
18, 1960, to Lina Agostinelli.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Nick; three daughters, Connie Dicicco,
Bobbie Contreres and Paula Zavatti; a brother, Sam; a sister, Gabriella

Mr. Martinez, 59, died March 12, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was
a U.S. postal carrier at the Antares Branch on Uintah and Circle and was
previously at the North End Branch. He served as a nuclear power engineer
on submarines in the Navy for more than eight years. He was honorably discharged
and a lifetime member of the VFW.
Mr. Martinez was born Jan. 30, 1942, in Del Norte to Albina Martinez,
who is deceased. He was married July 13, 1985, to LisaAnn Clepper.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Fil and Tony; and three grandchildren.
