Mrs. Hoffmann, 98, died March 8, 2001, at a local care center. She retired from a 29- year career with the County Extension Agent's Office and various government bureaus in Amarillo, Texas, and Ent Air Force Base in Colorado Springs.
Mrs. Hoffmann graduated from Colorado Springs High School in 1921.
She was born Aug. 30, 1902, in Colorado Springs, to William and Elizabeth (Buchsbaum) Crump, who are deceased.
She was married to Robert M. Fraser, who is deceased. She was then married to J. Karl Hoffmann, who is deceased.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Norma Fraser, of Colorado Springs; a cousin, Stanley Griffiths, of California; two grandsons, Steven Fraser, of Westminster, and Scott Fraser, of Fountain; five great-grandchildren, Tommy Pons, Michael Fraser, Amanda Fraser, Michelle Fraser and Chase Fraser; and a great-great-granddaughter, Angelina Terry-Pons. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert W. Fraser; and two sisters, Elizabeth Traylor and Lillian Montgomery.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. today with services at 2 p.m. at Nolan Funeral Home, 225 N. Weber St., 632-7608. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave.

MARGARET ANN "PEG" HOLWICK
Mrs. Holwick, 69, a Colorado Springs resident, died March 9, 2001, in Clearwater, Fla. She was a homemaker and received the Colorado Springs Goodwill Volunteer of the Year award in 1984.
Mrs. Holwick was born June 28, 1931, in Belvidere, Ill., to Howard and Magda (Austad) Frye, who are deceased. She was married Feb. 6, 1952, to retired Army Col. William B. Holwick.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, the Rev. William D. Holwick, of Ledgewood, N.J., and Lt. Col. John S. Holwick, of Seoul, South Korea; a daughter, Kristin L. Gerber, of Arlington, Va.; and 11 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, Clearwater, (727) 466-2375. Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington.

MARY J. SALAZAR
Mrs. Salazar, 74, died March 9, 2001, at a local hospital. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Salazar was born Dec. 11, 1926, in Antonito, to Juan L. and Bernadita (Duran) Vigil, who are deceased. She was married to Felix D. Salazar.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Thomas Martinez; two daughters, Gloria and Monica; two sisters, Stella Martinez and Lupy Rodriguez; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Cornelia Trujillo.

EDWIN T. "EDDY" JOHNSON
Mr. Johnson, 29, died March 8, 2001, in Manitou Springs. He was a framer.
Mr. Johnson was born Jan. 8, 1972, in Midwest City, Okla., to Ed and Pattie Johnson.
He is survived by his parents; a sister, Chrissy Rosekrans; a brother-in-law, T.J. Rosekrans; an uncle, Robert; two nieces, Hailey and Kacey; and his grandmothers, Grace Doyle and Rita Sauber.

SCOTT E. GILPATRICK
Mr. Gilpatrick, 44, died March 1, 2001, at a local hospital. He was owner of Bathrooms & More.
Mr. Gilpatrick was born May 21, 1956, in Cambridge, Mass., to Arlo E. and Anne R. (Hornyak) Gilpatrick. His mother is deceased. He was married Oct. 24, 1994, to Lorae J. Graham.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Heather N.; and his father.

MILDRED F. "MIDGE" O'SULLIVAN
Mrs. O'Sullivan, 94, a former Colorado Springs resident, died March 5, 2001, in Casper, Wyo. She worked for a short time for the FBI, Brown Brothers Corp. and was a manager for the Delano Apartment Complex.
Mrs. O'Sullivan was born Jan. 28, 1907, in Colorado Springs, to David Isaac and Mabel (Nichols) Flatt, who are deceased. She was married to William V. O'Sullivan, who is deceased.
She is survived by a brother, David Enos Flatt, of Grand Junction; four nieces; four nephews; and numerous great and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Forsythe was born Sept. 23, 1908, in Balcom, Ill., to Otis Eugene and Nova Edith (Verble) Cochran, who are deceased. She was married to George Ralph Forsythe, who is deceased.
She is survived by a daughter, Judith A. Mrs. Poindexter, 60, died March 10, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a retired nurse.
Mrs. Poindexter was born Aug. 29, 1940, in Coleman, Texas, to Alvin Nellson and Clara Nell (Bedell) Norris, who are deceased. She was married May 10, 1959, to Bailey Joe Poindexter, who is deceased.
She is survived by two sons, Davie Joe and Alvin N.; two daughters, Rebecca Lyn Johnson and Princess Elaine Sipe; three brothers, Frank J. Norris, Dale E. Norris and Dick Norris; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.

PEARLY MAE JOHNSON
Mrs. Johnson, 64, died March 9, 2001, at a local hospital. She retired from Schlage Lock Co. after 21 years.
Mrs. Johnson was born May 17, 1936, in Atkins, Ark., to Walter and Bernice (Little) Wilson. Her father is deceased. She was married April 16, 1955, to Enoch L. Johnson Sr.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Enoch Jr.; a daughter, Michelle; a stepdaughter, Mozzell James, of Yonkers, N.Y.; her mother, of Prescott, Wash.; a sister, Rose Griffin, of Prescott; and four grandchildren, Lehala, Cherice, Shawn and Kendall.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m Wednesday at Angelus Funeral Directors, 2535 Airport Road, 391-1918. A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Payne Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 3625 Marion Drive. Family and friends of Sister Pearly Johnson are invited to share a fellowship meal in the fellowship hall immediately following the funeral service. Cremation is planned.

GERTRUD EMMA (KALMBACH) PEITL
Mrs. Peitl, 91, died March 6, 2001, at a local care center. She was a housewife.
Mrs. Peitl was born Dec. 14, 1909, in Stuttgart, Germany, to George and Therese (Durner) Kalmbach, who are deceased. She was married Sept. 5, 1931, to Alfred Franz Peitl, who is deceased.

Mr. Nolin, 43, died March 13, 2001, at his home in Security. He was a loving son and brother.
Mr. Nolin was born Jan. 3, 1958, in El Paso, Texas, to Jesse Thomas and Ruby D. (Houts) Nolin. His father is deceased.
He is survived by his mother; a brother, Danny; and four sisters, Linda Weber, Sheila Schwartz, Sandra Beyers and Joy Hampton.

Mrs. Templeton, 60, died March 13, 2001, at a local hospital. She was an administrative assistant with Winslow Court.
Mrs. Templeton was born July 1, 1940, in Fairmont, Minn., to Dietrich and Minnie Laue, who are deceased. She was married Sept. 24, 1977, to Al Templeton.
She is survived by her husband; four sons, Scott Gravelle, Gregory Gravelle, Douglas Gravelle and Kevin Gravelle; two daughters, Debbie Poole and Cindy Warton; three brothers, Walt Laue, Larry Laue and Darvin Laue; five sisters, Lorna Baarts, Delores Dokken, Karen Rossow, Lavonne Olson and Ardis Lennartson; and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Gravelle; and a brother, David Laue.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Kirkland; three daughters, Mary Ann Washington, Rose C. "Brenda" Gray and Jane Bradley; a brother, Nathan; a sister, Allean; 24 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. 
He was preceded in death by four sons, James Allie, John Irving, Ronald and Raymond Lance; and two daughters, Elizabeth Lena Gardner and Sandra Marie Nelson.

Mr. Boe was born April 24, 1955, in Walden to Lois Smith and Jerry O. Boe.
He is survived by two sons, Justin and Gabriel, both of Colorado Springs; his mother of Huntsville, Ark.; his father of Colorado Springs; his stepmother, Patricia Boe of Colorado Springs; two brothers, Jerry and Jason, both of Colorado Springs; a sister, Starla Reeder of Peyton; a stepbrother, David Lankford of Phoenix; and two stepsisters, Lisa Taylor and Stephanie Irwin, both of Colorado Springs.

Mrs. Bulzgis, 90, died March 13, 2001, at a local care center. She retired from Uniroyal in Naugatuck, Conn.
Mrs. Bulzgis was born Aug. 25, 1910, in Waterbury, Conn., to Michael and Petrone (Mulerakes) Kaira- wicz, who are deceased. She was married to John P. Bulzgis, who is deceased.
She is survived by a daughter, Helen A. White; a son-in-law, Edmund White; two grandchildren, David White and Donna Bland; four great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Stanley Kairawicz, Joseph Kairawicz and Albert Kairawicz; and a sister, Ann Hovey.

ROCCO ZAVATTI
Mr. Zavatti, 68, died March 12, 2001, at a local hospital. He was co-founder of Commercial Design Engineering. He retired in 1994 as a mechanical contractor.
Mr. Zavatti was born Sept. 22, 1932, in Casano, Italy, to Nicola and Constatina (Guadagnoli) Zavatti, who are deceased. He was married June 18, 1960, to Lina Agostinelli.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Nick; three daughters, Connie Dicicco, Bobbie Contreres and Paula Zavatti; a brother, Sam; a sister, Gabriella Villani; and two grandchildren, Christopher Contreres and Christina Contreres.

ERMINIO FILIBERTO "MARTY" MARTINEZ
Mr. Martinez, 59, died March 12, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was a U.S. postal carrier at the Antares Branch on Uintah and Circle and was previously at the North End Branch. He served as a nuclear power engineer on submarines in the Navy for more than eight years. He was honorably discharged and a lifetime member of the VFW. 
Mr. Martinez was born Jan. 30, 1942, in Del Norte to Albina Martinez, who is deceased. He was married July 13, 1985, to LisaAnn Clepper.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Fil and Tony; and three grandchildren.
Visitation and rosary will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, with a Mass at 11 a.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Cathedral, 22 W. Kiowa St. A luncheon will follow the Mass.
