Mr. Garnett, 69, died Feb. 22. 2001, at his residence in Colorado Springs. He served in the Air Force for 22 years, attaining the rank of master sergeant, and was a tax accounting specialist.
Mr. Garnett was born Aug. 17, 1931, in Columbia, Ky., to Henry Aze and Minnie Reacy Garnett, who are deceased. He was married May 9, 1998, to Lula M. Terrell.
Mr. Garnett is survived by his wife; a son, Greg; three sisters, Dolores Carson of Cincinnati, Linda Clayborn of Cincinnati, and Loretta Garnett of Kentucky; and two grandchildren. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Buford and Cecil; and two sisters, Dorothy Epperson and Shirley Garnett.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Angelus Funeral Directors, 2535 Airport Road, 391-1918. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Angelus Funeral Directors. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave.

KYLE R. KELLY
Mr. Kelly, 41, died at his home in Colorado Springs.
Mr. Kelly was born Feb. 27, 1959, in Berlin to William B. and Betty (Rowland) Kelly, who are deceased.
He is survived by a brother, Reid (Debra); and a sister, Karen.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900.

LOREN L. "LEE" BRUNER
Mr. Bruner, 85, died Feb. 23, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was employed as a salesman for Colorado Springs Supply Co. He also served in the Army Air Corps.
Mr. Bruner was born Nov. 12, 1915, in Selden, Kan., to Phillip L. and Bessie (Witham) Bruner, who are deceased. He was married July 11, 1943, to Jeanne Bradshaw, who is deceased.
He is survived by two sons, Richard L. and James B.; a brother, James G.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Crystal Valley Cemetery, Manitou Springs.

Mrs. Flora, 78, died Feb. 23, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Flora was born March 8, 1922, in Springfield, Ohio, to George and Ethel Flora, who are deceased. She was married Sept. 3, 1947, to Willis E. Flora, who is deceased.
She is survived by two sons, James (Linda) and William (Polly); five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

PAUL R. COWDEN
Mr. Cowden, 73, died Feb. 24, 2001, at a local hospital. He worked in maintenance for USOC and Garden of the Gods Club. He served in the Navy.
Mr. Cowden was born May 27, 1927, in Carthage, Mo., to Charley and Velma (Butts) Cowden, who are deceased. He was married Sept. 10, 1948, to Charlotte Needs.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Dan and Larry; a daughter, Cheryl Hagen; two sisters, Pauline McDaniel and Goldie Elliott; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.

JACKSON GOMEZ
Jackson, infant son of Jose III and Holly M. (Greene) Gomez, died Feb. 22, 2001, in Colorado Springs.
Jackson was born Oct. 23, 2000, in Colorado Springs.
He is survived by his parents; two sisters, Brooke and Sydney; his grandparents, Beverly and Jerry Lindenberger, Joe and Olivia Gomez and Montie and Janey Greene; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

Mrs. Iddings, 92, a former Colorado Springs resident, died Feb. 24, 2001, in Albuquerque, N.M. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Iddings was born June 16, 1908, in Chicago, Ill., to Charles and Albina (Sejnost) Svec, who are deceased. She was married to Charles H. Iddings, who is deceased.
She is survived by a son, Ken; a daughter-in-law, Betty; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

RETIRED 1ST SGT. DAVID N. SAUNDERS
1st Sgt. Saunders, 78, died Feb. 24, 2001, at his home in Widefield. He retired from the Army after 24 years of service.
1st Sgt. Saunders was born March 30, 1922, in Bluefield, W.Va., to Daniel N. and Margaret (Phlegar) Saunders, who are deceased. He was married Dec. 5, 1958, to Gerda E. Falkenberg.
He is survived by his wife and two sons, Thomas and Harald.

Mrs. Reichert, 82, died Feb. 24, 2001, at a local care center. She retired from retail sales for Sears.
Mrs. Reichert was born Oct. 11, 1918, in Sharon, Kan., to Charles and Minnie (Spung) Palmer, who are deceased. She was married Feb. 25, 1940, to Vincent D. Reichert, who is deceased.
She is survived by a stepdaughter, Deanna Miller; a brother, Howard Palmer; a sister, Estella Nichols; two stepgrandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter; two brothers, David and Raymond; and a sister, Ruth Rinke.

Mr. Murphy, 91, died Feb. 22, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was a retired carpenter.

Mr. Kraus, 69, died Feb. 22, 2001, in Cañon City. He worked for security services and was a halfback for the Green Bay Packers from 1960 to 1962. He also served in the Navy for three years and in the Army for four years.
Mr. Kraus was born Jan. 23, 1932, in Trenton, N.J., to Gustave Konietzko and Alice Kraus, who are deceased.
He is survived by a daughter, Lori Schneider of Florence; a sister, Ann Kraus; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandchild.

Mrs. Klein was born July 27, 1941, in Centerpoint, Ark., to Carl L. and Lena Mae (Crisp) Jones. She was married July 17, 1981, to Edward H. Klein Jr.
She is survived by her mother; her husband; four sons, Mike Long, Dan Long, Ed Klein III and Fred Roberts; three brothers, Raymond Jones, Carl Algie Jones and McDuff Jones; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father.

Mr. Scheid, 46, died Feb. 24, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He worked in plumbing sales.

RONALD EARNEST "RON" TREADWELL
Mr. Treadwell, 51, died Feb. 23, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was a security guard with Pinkerton, assigned to Leon Young Service Center and before that at Walter Drake.
He was born July 30, 1949, in Pell City, Ala., to Oscar Graham and Fannie Elizabeth (Davis) Treadwell, who are deceased. He was married Nov. 26, 1975, to Laurel Joan Kinsell.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Tracey Elaine Fifield and Jessica Ruth Whitehead; five brothers, John Thomas "JT," Isaac C. "Ike," Douglas, Robert Montgomery and David Graham "Jack"; and two sisters, Bertha Wilson and Sarah Ruth Hyatt. He was preceded in death by five brothers, William Albert "Billy", John Henry, Curtis Embry, Andrew Jackson "Andy" and Chalmers Rogers.

Mr. McKnight was born Oct. 5, 1953, in Pontiac, Mich.
He is survived by two sons, Nicholas and Michael; his mother, Wilma McKnight; two brothers, Ron and Ray; and two sisters, Bonnie Hardgraves and Vicki McKnight. He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard McKnight.

Mr. Colgan died Feb. 26, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service and from the Air Force.
Mr. Colgan was born Dec. 10, 1936, in Wichita, Kan., to Chriss and Juanita Colgan, who are deceased. He was married June 30, 1962, to Marjorie Gordy.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Merritt and Mitch; two daughter-in-laws, Sheryl and Jacque; a granddaughter, Gabrielle; and two brothers, Larry and George.

Mr. Loomis, 71, died Feb. 28, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He retired as a high pressure steam engineer from civil service at Fort Carson and served in the Air Force.
Mr. Loomis was born Nov. 3, 1929, in Dickinson, N.D., to Mervil Gene and Thelma (Ronning) Loomis, who are deceased. He was married Dec. 22, 1951, to Mary Ann Maestas, who is deceased.
He is survived by two daughters, Lydia Loomis and Donna L. Long; a son-in-law, Michael Long; a brother, Robert; a sister, Merle Haerter; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two infant daughters.

CAPT. JUSTIN BRIAN SANDERS
Capt. Sanders, 26, a former Colorado Springs resident, died Feb. 21, 2001, off the coast of Jacksonville, Fla. as a result of a T45A Goshawk crash. He was an instructor pilot at Vance Air Force Base, Enid, Okla., and former Air Force Academy cadet.
Capt. Sanders was born May 24, 1974, in Oklahoma City, to O.M. "Bud" and Judy Sanders Jr. His mother is deceased. He was married Sept. 12, 1998, to Carrie Lynn Carter.
He is survived by his wife; his father; a sister, Greta Remington; his grandparents, A.C. and Nadine Watkins; his grandmother, Dorcus Sanders; and his great-grandmother, Lois Farmer.
