LUCY BELMEAR, 95, of Denver died Oct. 28. Services were Nov. 1, with burial at Crown Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Belmear was born Lucy Eaton in Cortez on Nov. 24, 1904. She married Willard Bellmear, 1922. She was an accountant with the Colorado Dept. of Wildlife. She was a member of St. John's School and Church. Survivors include sons Harold of Grand Junction, Gerald and James, both of Denver, William of Germany; sisters Leita Boblitt of Texas, Jeanne Eaton of Utah; 23 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

CLEO EVELYN BOWMAN, 84, of Federal Heights died Oct. 28. Services were Nov. 3, with burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Mr. Bowman was born in Carrollton, Mo., on Sept. 8, 1916. She married James Bowman, 1940. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Plum Creek Ladies Club. Survivors include daughters Carol Werkmeister of Westminster, Nancy Morgan of Texas; son Samuel Bowman-Morning Star of California; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

JULIE VERNIE EINSPAHR, 18, of Evergreen died Oct. 24. Services were Oct. 28. Miss Einspahr was born in Englewood on June 3, 1982. She was a student. She was a member of the Kittredge Community Bible Church. Survivors include parents Jack and Sharon of Evergreen; grandparents Robert Cummings and Cheryl and Randy Leonard; brothers Steve and Robert both of Lakewood and Scott of Denver; sisters Jacuelyn of Evergreen, Susan Noland of Denver and Stacy Burn of Nevada.

SETH VICTOR FREED, 74, of Denver died Oct. 29. Services were Nov. 2, with burial at Fairview Cemtery. Mr. Freed was born in Los Alamos on April 8, 1926. He was an auto mechanic. Survivors include son Victor of Washington; daughters Laura Pickett of Littleton, Kellie Van Heuten of Castle Rock; five grandchildren.

JOHN L. GRIGG, 67, of Denver died Oct. 27. Services were Nov. 2, with burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Mr. Grigg was born in McKinney, Texas on Dec. 5, 1932. He married Esther Gallegos, 1957. He retired from the Air Force after 23 years. He was a founding member of the Discalced Secular Carmelites of Denver. Survivors include his wife; daughters Alinda Groover of Texas, Joni Craghead of McKinney; stepson Edward Quintana of Florida; brother Delton of Texas; five grandchildren.

ISLETA MARIE HANNA, 92, of Denver died Oct. 30. A Memorial mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 6, at St. Vincent De Paul Parish. Mrs. Hanna was born in Nebraska on Dec. 20, 1907. She married Burt Hanna Jr., 1929. She was a retired physical education teacher for Denver public schools. Survivors include daughter Joan Wysong of Denver; son Bruce of Boulder; sister Marcelene Bennett of Florida; brother Robert Lichty of California.

ESTHER S. HOPPENRATH, 90, of Arvada died Oct. 16 in Wheat Ridge. Services were Oct. 20, with burial at Crown Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Hoppenrath was born in Milwaukee on Oct. 11, 1910. She married Edward Hoppenrath, 1937. She was a homemaker. Survivors include sons Edward of Arvada, Kenneth of Illinois; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a great great-granddaughter.

MELVIN R. HUFF JR., 75, of Pueblo West died Oct. 27 in Illinois. Services were Nov. 3, with burial at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Huff was born in Grand Junction on Sept. 12, 1925. He married Roberta Surls, 1946. He was an electronics engineer. He was a member of the Full Gospel Businessmen's International. Survivors include his wife; daughters Karen Hermelink of Parker, Sandy Price of Pueblo West; son Scott of Cortez; brother David of Paonia.

JANINE F. HULTQUIST, 63, of Aurora died Oct. 12. Services were Oct. 17. Mrs. Hultquist was born in Gothenburg, Neb., on Dec. 27, 1936. She married Ron Hultquist, 1959. She was a member of the Adams-Arapahoe County Women's Club and a volunteer at the Aurora Presbyterian Hospital Women's Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband; father Marvin Olson; daughter Kari Stewart; son Kyle; sisters Connie Weibel of Aurora, Ann Locke of Golden; five grandchildren.

BETTY BROCK KANTOR, 76, of Englewood died Oct. 26. Services will be at 11:15 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, at Chapel at Shalom Park, 14800 E. Belleview. Mrs. Kantor was born in Buffalo, N.Y., on Dec. 29, 1923. She married Samuel Kantor, 1980. She was a college bookstore manager. She was a volunteer at the American Cancer Society and a volunteer orbitrator for the Better Business Bureau. Survivors include her husband; daughter Sharon Lippa of Englewood; two grandchildren.

DELZENE F. McGUIRE, 61, of Thornton died Oct. 26 in Las Vegas. Services were private. Mrs. McGuire was born in Sidney, Iowa, on Feb. 16, 1939. She married Charles McGuire, 1958. Survivors include her husband; daughters Susan Singleton of Hudson, Renee McCracken of Thornton; son Kirk of Northglenn; four grandchildren.

CATHERINE M. MOFFITT, 92, of Aurora died Oct. 28. Services were Nov. 1. Mrs. Moffitt was born in Denver on May 26, 1908. She married Richard Moffitt, 1948. She was a homemaker. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.

JOANNE CATHERINE MOORE, 75, of Denver died Oct. 30 in Littleton. Services were Nov. 1. Ms. Moore was born in Spooner, Wis., on June 14, 1925. She retired in 1988 as an office worker at Martin Marietta. Survivors include sons Gregory Keena of Littleton, Patrick Keena of Kentucky, Kerry Keena of Florida; half sisters Kathleen Bergran and Edith Spangler, both of Wisconsin; nine grandchildren.

BETTY LORRAINE OLSON, 69, of Aurora died Oct. 29. Services were Nov. 3. Mrs. Olson was born in Scotland, S.D., on Dec. 10, 1930. She married Earl Olson, 1949. She was a homemaker. She was a member of TOPS Club and Altar Guild at St. Matthews. LILLIAN F. PERRY, 85, of Englewood died Oct. 18. Burial was at Hampden Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Perry was born in Hot Springs, Ark., on Aug. 21, 1915. She married Frank Perry, 1936. She was a homemaker. Survivors include son Frank of Englewood; daughters Beverly Loechel of Englewood, Ginger Banta of Aurora, Joyce Young of Littleton; sister Caroline Oswandel of Englewood; brother Byron Chandler of Denver; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

VIOLET JEAN ''BOBBIE'' PRATER, 63, died Oct. 28 in Denver. Burial was at Fairmount Cemetery. Mrs. Prater was born in Denver on Jan. 18, 1937. She was a homemaker. Survivors include four children; two brothers; three sisters; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

FAITH KENNEDY SARLES, 76, of Searcy, Ark., formerly of Lakewood died Oct. 25. Services were Oct. 28, with burial at Mount Hebron Cemetery in Arkansas. Mrs. Sarles was born in Feb. 20, 1924. She married Frank Sarles, 1945. She was an executive secretary for the National Park Service. She was a volunteer for the auxiliary program at White County Medical Center. Survivors include sons John of Denver, Kenneth of Aurora; sisters Kathleen Moffitt, Colleen Lemmonds, Shirlene McFadden, all of Arkansas; four grandchildren.

MONICA SLON-DaSILVA, 37, of Aurora died Oct. 29. Services were Oct. 31. Mrs. Slon-DaSilva was born in Brazil on July 2, 1963. She married Marcos DaSilva. She was an actress and writer. Survivors include her husband; parents Evangelina and Claudio of Aurora; sisters Cynthia of Oregon, Patricia of California.

CHARLENE MAE STUART, 58, of Crescent City, Calif., formerly of Commerce City died Oct. 29. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, at Goode Centennial United Methodist Church, 64th and Olive. Mrs. Stuart was born in Beatrice, Neb., on June 5, 1942. She married Frank Stuart. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband; daughter Renee Powers of California; brothers Charles of Commerce City, Michael of Minnesota.

LEONARD ASHBY WILLIAMS, 87, of Lakewood died Oct. 31. Services were Nov. 3, with burial at Crown Hill Cemetery. Mr. Williams was born in Nansemond County, Va., on June 21, 1913. He married Alice Williams, 1939. He was instrumental in the establishment of 1st Bank of colorado and was a new business development officer at Lakeside National Bank. He was a member of Calvary Temple for 30 years. Survivors include his wife; son Carter of Minnesota; daughter Ivy Dodd of Arvada; brother Hugh of Virginia; sister Marcia Donat of Virginia; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

GERALD H. WOLTEMATH, 73, of Arvada died Oct. 30 in Lakewood. Memorial services were Nov. 3, with inurnment at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Mr. Woltemath was born in Elk Creek, Neb., on June 9, 1927. He married Anita Jean Gadow, 1950. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was a retired food and beverage salesman. He was a member of the Arvada Elks No. 2278, American Legion Post No. 161 and Bethlehem Lutheran. IREVE G. WOODWORTH, 96, of Aurora died Oct. 29. Services were Oct. 31, with burial at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Woodworth was born in Duel, Neb., on Sept. 1, 1904. She married Roy Woodworth, 1926. She was a homemaker. HELEN J. YOUNG, 63, of Castle Rock died Oct. 19 in Littleton. Services were Oct. 24. Mrs. Young was born in Canton, Miss., on Nov. 21, 1936. She married John Young. She was a homemaker. He married Faye Leach, 1953. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of American Legion Post 193. MELVIN LEROY ''SKIP'' BARBER, 64, of Littleton died Oct. 31. Services were Nov. 4, with burial at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Barber was born in Toledo, Ohio, on Dec. 20, 1935. He married Sharon Travis, 1957. He owned and operated a carpet cleaning company. Survivors include his wife; sons Ken of Highlands Ranch, Kirk of Englewood; daughters Kim Sims of Littleton, Kathy Kelley of Aurora; sisters Henrietta Delong of Ohio, Karen Garard of Arizona; brothers Bill, John and Gary, all of Ohio; six grandchildren.

NORMA A. ''TUTU'' BIXBY, 88, of Aurora died Oct. 28. Ms. Bixby was born in Coronado, Calif., on Aug. 23, 1912. She was a bookkeeper. She was a member of the American Association of University Women. ROSE MARY BROWN-DEKOEVEND, 44, of Englewood died Oct. 30. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, at Center Point Christian Outreach Center. Mrs. Brown-DeKoevend was born in Lamar on April 16, 1956. She married Ronald DeKoevend, 2000. She was a member of Center Point Church. Survivors include her husband; daughters Stephanie Saulton of Denver, Maggie Jenks of Aurora, Chrissy and Becky, both of Englewood; sisters Pauline Bradfield of New Mexico, Claudine Stecklein of Missouri, Wanita Line and Carolyn Line, both of Denver; brothers Stanley Brown of Grand Lake, Maurice Brown of Rifle, Steven Brown of Lamar, Nicholas Brown of Thornton; a grandchild.

DONALD J. DONAVEN, 74, of Denver died Oct. 31. Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 6, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, followed by burial. Mr. Donaven was born in Boulder on Dec. 1, 1925. He married Minnie May on Aug. 23, 1945. He was a physical scientist. ALBERTA W. EISENACH, 89, of Lakewood died Oct. 29. Services were Nov. 3. Ms. Eisenach was born in Scottsbluff, Neb., on Aug. 7, 1911. She married in 1949. She was a homemaker and a member of Eastern Star. Survivors include son Barry of Arvada; a grandson.

JEAN ELIZABETH RUSH FOSTER, 91, of Denver died Oct. 30. Services were Nov. 3. Mrs. Foster was born Jean Rush in Palisade on Aug. 31, 1909. She married W. Walter Foster, 1933. She was an elementary school music teacher and an apartment manager. She directed a junior church choir and was a member of PEO and Windsor Gardens Opti-Mrs. Club. Survivors, all of Denver, include sons W. Clayton, Stanley; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

HAROLD ''KEN'' HARRIS, 73, of Federal Heights died Oct. 23. Services were Oct. 26, with inurnment at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Mr. Harris was born in Greeley on June 5, 1927. He married Delsie Munger, 1951. He was a truck driver. Survivors include his wife; daughters Vickie Green of Aurora, Patricia Landon of Littleton; sons Kenneth of Federal Heights, Donald of Boulder, Mark of Westminster; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

LOUISE M. HOFFERBER, 57, of Northglenn died Oct. 23. Services were Oct. 27. Mrs. Hofferber was born in Trinidad on Sept. 13, 1943. She married Ronald Hofferber, 1970. She was a clerk at King Soopers. Survivors include her husband; daughter Diedre of Northglenn; stepmother Sandra Barros of Northglenn; brothers Anthony Barros Jr. of Oklahoma, Robert Barros of Arizona; sisters Toni-Rae Irvin, Joanna Barros and Valerie Barros, all of Northglenn; a grandchild.

RON JOHNSEN, 27, of Golden, formerly of Elizabeth, died Oct. 26. Services were Nov. 4. Mr. Johnsen was born in Englewood on May 7, 1973. He graduated from the University of Colorado law school and was a lawyer at Hackethal, McNeill & Aucoin. He was a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Republican Party. Survivors include parents Kathy and Larry of Elizabeth; sister Jennifer of Greeley.

ROBERT EARL KEEHN, 70, of Brighton died Oct. 27. Services were Oct. 31, with inurnment at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Mr. Keehn was born in Paoli on April 19, 1930. He married Lilly Dyson, 1972. He served in the Marines during the Korean War. He was a retired Denver police officer. He was a member of South Denver Masonic Lodge No. 93, Denver Consistory and El Jebel Shrine. Survivors include his wife; sons Ricky and Larry, both of California; daughter Margaret Keehn McQueary of Hudson; brother Ronald of Littleton; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

NORMA LEE LOVELAND, 76, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Denver, died Oct. 15. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Mrs. Loveland was born in Redvale on Feb. 28, 1924. She married Ford Loveland. She was a painter and pianist. Survivors include son Jack Basye of New Mexico; brother Charles Hallenbeck of Hotchkiss; sister Josephine Patten of Grand Junction; two granddaughters; a great-granddaughter.

ISSAC LOEWEN, 83, of Denver died Oct. 28. Mr. Loewen was born in Hillsboro, Kan., on June 14, 1917. He served in the Navy during World War II. He retired from the Navy and was a retired stationary engineer. He was a member of the Recyclers Club. Survivors include two nephews; two nieces.

DENNIS FRANCIS LUXA, 69, of Lakewood died Oct. 31. Services were Nov. 3, with inurnment at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Mr. Luxa was born in Howells, Neb., on Oct. 9, 1931. He married Ardyce Ann Heimann, 1955. He was a retired district sales manager. Survivors include his wife; son Matthew of Utah, Russell of Denver; sister Marie Morlan of Nebraska; brother Leon of Nebraska; a grandchild.

ROSE D. MARTIN, 96, of Thornton died Oct. 28. Ms. Martin was born in Tyrol, Austria, on May 15, 1904. Survivors include two daughters; a son; a brother; a sister; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

EDWIN F. MESSING, 86, of Grand Junction died Oct. 30 in Fruita. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, at Palisade Municipal Cemetery. Mr. Messing was born in Alexandria, Neb., on Feb. 9, 1914. He married Vera Messing. He was a retired welder and fruit grower. Survivors include his wife; sons Edwin Jr. of Craig, Lawrence of Italy, Randall of Japan; daughters Sandra Geer and Lori, both of Grand Junction, Linda of California, A.D. of Washington; brother Harley of Nebraska; sisters Esther Hamilton of Grand Junction, Wilma Veon of Lakewood; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Ritter was born Lucile Gilbert in Lorain, Ohio, on Nov. 25, 1905. She married Glenn Ritter, 1929. She was a piano teacher and accompanist. She was a member of Eastern Star, Aeolian Music Club, Women's Club of Littleton and First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include daughter Jean Wilbur of Greenwood Village; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

CRAIG LEROY SAMORA, 35, of Commerce City died Oct. 31. Services were Nov. 3, with inurnment at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Mr. Samora was born in Denver on Nov. 17, 1964. He worked in automotive detailing. C. TOM SHAW, 70, of Payson, Ariz., formerly of Lakewood, died Oct. 30. Services were Nov. 4. Mr. Shaw was born in Pueblo on June 6, 1930. He married Darlene Fraser. He served in the Army and was a member of Lakewood Elks Lodge 1777. He married Viola Stafford. He served in the Army in the Korean War. He was a retired painter for RTD. DOROTHY McSHANE ''DUFFY'' TIEDEMAN, 63, of Evergreen died Oct. 31. Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, at St. Laurence's Episcopal Church in Conifer. Mrs. Tiedeman was born in Manhattan, N.Y., on July 5, 1937. She was a self-employed social worker at several hospitals and nursing homes. She was a member of National Association of Social Workers. Survivors include sons William of Evergreen, James of Denver; a granddaughter.
