Friends, family mourn Roy McGregor Reddick

DOWNEY-Roy McGregor Reddick, a resident of Downey, died April 24.

He was 71.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Reddick; his sons, Stephen Kewish, Robert Reddick and Thomas Kewish; his daughter, Christina Reddick; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a brother, Arthur Reddick; and a sister, Madeline Haffey.

Arrangements are by White's Funeral Home of Bellflower.


Elizabeth D. Riccobon services at age of 72

DOWNEY-Services were held Thursday, May 30, at the Miller-Mies Mortuary Chapel for Elizabeth D. Riccobon, a 40 year Downey resident and homemaker, who died April 26 in Downey.

She was 72, born in the Netherlands, and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Paul J. Riccobon; her children, Jeannette Haberman, Susan Simon, Linda Henderson, Lisa Garrison, Paul G. Riccobon; and 15 grandchildren.

Father Steve officiated.

Burial followed at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

Arrangements were by the Miller-Mies Mortuary of Downey.


Friends, family mourn Arthur Lee Bright, 58

DOWNEY-Funeral services were held April 28 in Wenatchee, Washington, for Arthur Lee Bright, a former Downey resident for 50 years, who died of a heart attack at his home in Las Vegas April 19.

He was born in Los Angeles and lived in Las Vegas for the past eight years.

Survivors include his mother, Florence of Washington; his children, Christy Conroy of Downey, and Rebecca Dunson of Las Vegas; a sister, Carolyn of Washington; and four grandchildren.
