She was 82, born in Hawaii Dec. 18, 1914.
Survivors include her husband, August C. Costa; a son, Allan Costa of La Habra; daughter Gwen Simas of Riverbank, CA; four grandchildren and one great-grandson; brothers Walter Freitas of Oregon; Henry Freitas of Hawaii; sisters Dorothy Gardner of Georgia, Agnes Hunter of South Carolina, Catherine Mendonca of Hawaii and Louise Freitas of Hawaii.
A Funeral Mass will be heard Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, the Rev. Father John Moloney, officiating.
Arrangements are by the Downey Zrelak Family Mortuary.
He lived in Downey for 16 years, and was a member of St. Raymond's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rosita Capino; children Joseph and Rosemary Capino and Sonia Cruz of Downey, Millet Jellenek of Virginia, Maribel Logti and Rosary Quiambao of the Philippines; and 13 grandchildren.
Monsignor Robert Gipson, pastor, officiated. Burial followed at All Souls Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Downey Zrelak Family Mortuary.
She was 86, born in Cleveland, Ohio.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Lascola, Jr.; her son, Richard (Linda) Lascola of Fallbrook; a granddaughter, Erika, and grandson, Jeff Lascola.

She was 93, born in Bloomington, California, Jan. 14, 1904, and died Nov. 17 at Los Alamitos Hospital after a long illness.
She was a homemaker, and worked in the Downey cafeteria system for 26 years until her retirement.
She and husband Clarence were married Jan. 3, 1923. From Downey they moved to Joshua Tree, then El Monte, and finally settled at Seal Beach's Leisure World.
Survivors include husband, Clarence; daughters Edith McCurdy (Charles) of Downey, Esther Crandall of Oregon; son Clarence "B" Hicks of Arizona; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alva Brashear.
The Rev. Robert Hempy officiated.
Arrangements were by Rose Hills Memorial Park.
She was 76, born in Harlan, Iowa, and died at her daughter's home in Fullerton Nov. 23.
Her first beauty shop was at Third Street and Downey Avenue (in the old Mason's building) in the early 1960s. Her second shop was on Second Street in Downey's downtown from 1966 to 1987. The City bought her out to do the downtown remodels.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald Beckley of Downey; her son, Lonnie Beckley of Downey; her daughter, Lorraine Wicks of Fullerton; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was 87, born in Durango, Mexico, was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, and was retired.
Survivors include his wife, Anita Carvajal; his sons, Rudy and Fred Carvajal; and his daughters, Elemia Martinez and Carolyn Brencius.
Father John officiated. Cremation followed.
She was born in Pueblo, Colorado, lived in Whittier, and died Nov. 17 at Whittier Presbyterian Hospital at the age of 81.
Survivors include her brother, Pete Palmintieri of Whittier.
