He was a longtime resident of Downey, born May 8, 1921 in Los Angeles.
Survivors include his wife, Neva H.; his daughter, Teresa; his son, Alexander; and a brother, John.
Arrangements are by Rose Hills Memorial Park.
He was 93, born Nov. 23, 1903 in Butler, Pennsylvania, and worked 50 years for the A.T. & S.F. Railroad as a yard master. He was a member of the Pico Rivera, Downey and Paramount senior citizens organizations.
Survivors include his daughter, Phyllis-Jeane Hebebrand of Placentia; a son, Donald Ulander of Costa Mesa; grandchildren Jon and Jeffrey Hebebrand, and Mike, Robert and Carolyn Ulander; great-grandchildren Ingrid Ulander and Erin and Kathryn Hebebrand.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irma Anne in 1989.
The Reverend Monsignor Robert Gipson was officiant.
Burial followed at All Souls Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Downey Zrelak Family Mortuary.
She was 72, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and was an office/clerical worker for 30 years, most recently for the Piping Specialists Co.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna (August) Corrao of Santa Maria; a brother, George Khalil of New Kensington, Pennsylvania; and numerous nieces and nephews.
