W.C. (Doug) Stiles
W.C. (Doug) Stiles, 73, of Malvern went home to be with the Lord and
some of his friends who passed on before him on Oct.16, 2000, at Baptist
Medical Center, Little Rock.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 19, in the Atkinson
Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Russell Shuffield officiating. Burial will
be in Old Rockport Cemetery under under the funeral home's direction.

Jordan Elijah Dale Brown, infant, died Wednesday, May 31, 2000.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Rockport Memorial Gardens
with Rev. Patrick Hancock officiating. Burial will be under direction of
Atkinson Funeral Home.

her home.

Hettie Ida Galloway, age 100, of Arkadelphia died Monday, May 19, 2003,
at Twin Rivers Nursing Home. She was born June 27, 1902, in Cleveland County,
a daughter of the late Joseph Leonard Moseley and Alice Angeline Williams
Moseley. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Arkadelphia.
She married Edwin A. Galloway on July 28, 1918, in Cleveland County, and
he died August 10, 1972.

Elizabeth Ann Pennington, age 92, of Malvern, passed away Monday, June
23, 2003, at Hot Spring County Medical Center. She was born September 2,
1910, in Dallas County to H. B. and Lucy Ann Garner Chandler. Mrs. Pennington
was a homemaker and a charter member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
Willis Ralph Abbott
Willis Ralph Abbott, Jr., age 75, of Malvern, died Tuesday evening,
July 8, 2003, in the National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs. He was
born on August 21, 1927, in Malvern to Esther Means Abbott and the late
Willis Ralph Abbott, Sr., who died in 1991. Ralph was reared and educated
in Fort Smith, graduating from Fort Smith High School in 1945. He entered
the military and served as a hospital corpsman in the United States Navy.
For a portion of his working life, Ralph had worked for Arkansas Best Freight
Company in the accounting department. He was a Methodist and an avid sports
fan. Ralph had been a resident of Malvern since 1987.
