Mary Jeannine Elrod, 63, formerly of Florence and Wichita, died Monday (May 1, 2000) at the Sand Piper Bay Health Care Center in Wichita. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday (May 5, 2000) in the Highland Cemetery in Winfield, with Rev. Deede Evans of Hospice, Inc. officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until 8 p.m. Thursday. A memorial has been established with Hospice, Inc. 
Arrangements are under the direction of the Swisher-Taylor & Morris Funeral Home, Winfield.

Muriel Jeanette Leonard, 82, of Tulsa, Okla., formerly of Arkansas City, died Wednesday (May 17, 2000) at her home in Tulsa. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday (May 20, 2000) at the First Baptist Church in Horton. Interment will be in the Horton Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1-8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. A memorial has been established for the University of Kansas Williams Educational Fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home. 
Arrangements are under the direction of the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home, Arkansas City.

Nina L. Cary, 82, 88, of Winfield, died Monday (May 15, 2000) at the Galena Nursing Center in Galena. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday (May 18, 2000) in the Highland Cemetery in Winfield with Rev. Mark Boxman of our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Arkansas City, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home until 8 p.m. today and on Thursday until service time. A memorial has been established with the Galena Nursing Center. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.

Russell E. Martin, 63, Graveside services and interment were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday (May 16, 2000) in the Parker Cemetery with Pastor Tim Smith officiating. Military Committal services were conducted by McConnell Air Force Base Honor Guard, Wichita. 
Arrangements were under the direction of the Hawks Funeral Home, Arkansas City.

Funeral services for Carolyn Pike Marsh were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 3, 2000) at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home with Dr. Richard Nelson, of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment was in the Hope Cemetery.

Annabelle Lutes, 83, died Monday (Oct. 2, 2000) at her home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday (Oct. 5, 2000) at the First United Methodist Church of Lamont with Rev. Kirt Moelling officiating. Interment will be in the Lamont Cemetery. 
Arrangements are under the direction of the McCafferty-Bolick Funeral Home, Tonkawa.

Bud Musson, 83, Arkansas City, died Wednesday (Oct. 4, 2000) at his residence. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday (Oct. 6, 2000) at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home in Arkansas City with Rev. Lance Carrithers officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:30 - 8 p.m. on Thursday. A memorial has been established with Hospice, Inc. or the First Methodist Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.

Ronald J. Flock, 71, Winfield, died Monday (Oct. 23, 2000) at William Newton Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday (Oct. 27, 2000) at Miles Funeral Service. Military rites will be in the Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until 9 p.m. on Thursday. The family will be at the funeral home to greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Memorials have been established for the American Cancer Society and the Flint Hills Christian Camp. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.

Funeral services for Ruth McClellan Springer will be at 2 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 26, 2000) at the Iowa Community Building, south of Perkins. Interment will be in the Iowa Tribal Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Strode Funeral Home, Stillwater. All of Ruth's friends from the surrounding area and the Arkansas City area are invited to attend the church and funeral services.
