Medical Center. Services will be held at Barham Chapel Funeral Home today

He is preceded in death by a son, James Daniel Gustin.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Gustin of Meridian, Miss.; daughter,
Becky Clevenger (Robbie) of Loudon, Tenn.; stepson, Charles Iseke of Meridian,
Miss.; parents, Mavis and Herbert Gustin of Meridian, Miss.; sister, Vi
Stinnette (Charles) of Meridian, Miss.; nephew, Todd Stinnette of Gautier,
Miss.; a grandchild, Cody Clevenger of Loudon, Tenn.; a very special lifelong
friend, Mike Robinson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Clevenger, Nick Millich, Jeremy Millich, Luke Smith, Herbert Joyner and
Chris Smith.
Eunice Ann Green Walker Stubbs
REFORM - Eunice Ann Green Walker Stubbs, 93, formerly of Birmingham,
died Jan. 30, 2001. Services will be held at Johns-Ridout's Roebuck Funeral
Home Chapel today at 2 p.m. with the Rev. J.H. Robison and Rev. Carroll
Andrews officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Johns-Ridout's
Funeral Home is directing.
She is survived by her son, John Robert Walker (Ann) of Vestavia Hills;
daughters, Ollie Jim "Jackie" Holder (Paul) of Reform and Julia Mae Cowley
of Northport; six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Stubbs was born in Shelby County on Oct. 19, 1907. She was a lifelong
resident of Birmingham, raised in the Westend area. She was a lifelong
member of Beverly United Methodist Church. She worked for the Jefferson
County Board of Equalization for 22 years, retiring in 1970. Her fondest
memories were the many years she sang with the group "Sweet Adeline" at
Shepherd's Center. She also sang in the church choir and was a member of
the state and national Federation of Music clubs. She also researched her
family history back to the American Revolution.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons-in-law and her great-grandsons.
Memorials may be made to Beverly United Methodist Church.

TUSCALOOSA - Robert Sanders Jr., age 50, of 4710 Serenity Drive, died
Jan. 28, 2001, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 1 p.m.,
Friday, St. Paul Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery
in Duncanville with Williams Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation
will be today, noon until 5 p.m. The body will lie in state one hour prior

He was preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice Sanders; grandparents,
George and Rosa Kemp and Samuel and Georgia Sanders.

She is survived by her sister, Nell H. Brown of Dothan; sons, Kenneth
J. Hill of Tuscaloosa and Douglas Carlyle Hill of Steens, Miss.; daughters,
Frances Ledbetter of Tuscaloosa and Phyllis H. Duke of Lake City, Fla.;
five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She graduated from Kemper County Mississippi Agricultural School (Class
of 1927). She attended Mississippi College for Women and taught school
in Monroe and Noxubee County in Mississippi. She was a charter member of
Forest Lake United Methodist Church and the Tuscaloosa Association for
Retarded Citizens, which was formed in 1957. While she was physically able,
she was active in the United Methodist Women, Daughters of American Revolution,
and taught the Susannah Wesley Sunday school class.

Mattie Lou Plott Wilson
Mattie Lou Plott Wilson, 103, 8637 Rosemont Drive, died March 5, 2001,
at Health Center of Pensacola, Fla. Services will be at Skelton Funeral
Home Chapel on Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Jerry Croft officiating.
Burial will follow in Center-Springs Cemetery in Gordo. Visitation is one
hour prior to service at the funeral home. Skelton Funeral Home of Reform
is directing.
Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Wilson was born in the Flatwood Community south of Gordo on April
7, 1897. She had a 45-year-long career in public education beginning with
a teaching job at the Kirk Community One-Teacher School. She attended Livingston
Normal School in the summers, receiving her first-grade certificate and
graduated from The University of Alabama with her B.S. degree in education.
Mrs. Wilson taught for six years at Piper in Bibb County and moved to Carrollton
to live with and care for her mother, Kitty Plott. She retired in 1956
after teaching 23 years at Carrollton elementary and high school. She then
moved to Northport with her sister, Mary Plott Mullins, where she was active
in the Northport First United Methodist Church, the Present Day Study Club,
Spice of Life Club, United Methodist Women, Kings Daughters Sunday School
Class and the Tuscaloosa Retired Teachers Association.
Then in 1993, at the age of 96, when she could no longer live alone,
she moved to Pensacola, Fla., to live with her niece and her niece's husband,
Marion and Don Caton.
Mrs. Wilson was an inspiration to many students, friends and her family.
She loved and was loved by all her knew her.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

United Methodist Church of Northport, Ala.
