Services for Willard Richard Lee Barclay, 63, of 905 Coosa St., Talladega, will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Terry’s Metropolitan Mortuary with Rev. Bernard Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Lane Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Barclay died Tuesday at his home.
Survivors include a stepsister, Christine Wilson of Atlanta; and caregivers, Bessie C. Gould of Talladega and Jessie Cooper of Mobile.
Pallbearers will be family friends.
Mr. Barclay attended Westside Elementary School and was employed at Wehadkee Yarn Mill. He was a former Detroit and Buffalo resident. He returned to Talladega 10 years ago.

Services for Minnie Lurlean Brown, 80, of 7011 Alabama Highway 9, will be Friday at Chapel Hill Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Robert Hurst and Jasper Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Anniston Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brown died Tuesday at her home.
Survivors include eight daughters, Josephine Brown of Omaha, Neb., Geraldine Ligon of Delta, Connie Laney of Heflin, Lee Snider Kendall, Joyce Cantrell, Barbara Clay, Bonnie Langley and Debbie Langford, all of Anniston; three brothers, James Melvin Brown Jr. of Ranburne, Michael Brown and Chris Brown, both of Anniston; three sisters, Geraldine Reed of Heflin, Ethyl Clay of Weaver and Sally Mynatt of Knoxville, Tenn.; 20 grandchildren, Dawn Ramirez, Sherry Kastner, Pam Nutter, Wendy White, Kelly Hale, Alicia Prichett, Tara Postma, Jeff Jarvis, Shawn Jarvis, Regina Flemings, Jarrod Murray, Tabatha Brown, Julie Wallace, Jamie Brown, Kim Parris, Misty Cochran, Mandy Langford, April Langford, Allen Laney and Brandy Brown; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be DeWayne Stephens, Samuel Rhodes, Micheal White, Grady Hunter, James Hale Jr., Lance Braden, David Brown and Jimmy Postma.
Mrs. Brown, a native and lifelong resident of White Plains, was a member of White Plains First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Melvin Brown Sr.
Donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Research Society.

Services for Ruth Aline Buttram, 97, of 675 Philadelphia Church Road, will be today at 2 p.m. at Mickelsen-McGee Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Jerry Dyer and Bobby Kirk officiating. Burial will be in Piedmont Memory Gardens Cemetery. 
Mrs. Buttram died Tuesday at her home.
Survivors include four daughters, Aline Canter, Betty Naugher and Linda Kirk, all of Piedmont and Bernice Hinton of Gaysville; three sons, Bennie Buttram and Jack Buttram, both of Piedmont, and Wallace Buttram of Altoona; 39 grandchildren; 85 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Mrs. Buttram had lived in the Piedmont area most of her life. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
Family requests no flowers, donations may be made to Piedmont Rescue Squad.

Services for Jewel Norred, 69, of Roanoke, will be announced by Quattlebaum Funeral Home.
Miss Norred died Wednesday at Randolph County Hospital.

Mr. Thornburg died Tuesday at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Stone Thornburg of Ohatchee; a daughter, Theresa Solano of Ohatchee; two sons, Erskin W. Thornburg of Ohatchee and David Thornburg of Anniston; a sister, Elvia Snider of the Hollingsworth community; three brothers, Charles Thornburg of Jacksonville, Winston Thornburg of Trinidad, Texas and James Thornburg of Sylacauga; and three grandchildren, Whitney Solano, Elizabeth Thornburg and Calvin Thornburg.
Pallbearers will be M.T. Mitchell, Ralph Vane, Archie Weights, Harold Ashley, Earl Hinton and Otto Lett.
Mr. Thornburg, a native of Cherokee County, was a resident of Calhoun County for most of his life. He was retired from Blossman Gas Company and was a member of Iron City Baptist Church.

Mr. Chatman died Wednesday at his residence.
Survivors include a son, Jimmy Wilson of Talladega; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and his companion, Corean Smith of Talladega.

Services for Ethel W. Fincher, 83, of Heflin, will be today at 11 a.m. at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Jerry M. Prichard and Grover Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Fincher died Saturday at Cleburne County Nursing Home.
Survivors include a son, Tom Fincher of Fort Lauderdale; two daughters, Dean Lines of Heflin and Kay Crutcher of Phoenix City; three brothers, James Walker and Fornie Walker, both of Heflin, and Billy Walker of Leesburg; a sister, Opaline Roach of Whitesburg, Ga..; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Danny Lines, Steven Lines, Bob Lines, Jimmy Lines, Willie Austin and Willard Walker.
Mrs. Fincher was a native of Cleburne County and was a resident of Fort Lauderdale for 30 years before moving back to Heflin in 1986. she was a Baptist.

Services for Rev. Franklin D. Hammond, 65, of Graniteville, S.C., will be Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Clearwater First Baptist Church, Clearwater, S.C., with Revs. John Bolin and Roger Hammond officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Memorial Gardens, North Augusta, S.C., with Hatcher Funeral Home, Langley, S.C., in charge.
Rev. Hammond died Saturday at Aiken Regional Medical Center, Aiken.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Dickens Hammond of Graniteville; his mother, Bessie Mae Evans Hammond of Oxford; a son, Rev. Roger Hammond of Virginia Beach; three daughters, Melody Napier and Emily Hammond, both of Graniteville and Joy Coursey of Myrtle Beach; two stepsons, Brad Barbee of Graniteville and Clay Frost of North Augusta; two stepdaughters, Shanna Johnson of Clearwater and Heather Frost of Belvedere; a sister, Margaret Funderburg of Pell City; two brothers, Billy Hammond of Oxford and Robert Hammond of Forest Park, Ga.; and nine grandchildren.
Active and honorary pallbearers will be members of the Medium Adult Sunday school class.
Rev. Hammond was a native of Heflin and resident of Graniteville most of his life. He retired from Bobby Hydrick Mobile Homes with 12 years of service, and was a teacher and superintendent of the Clearwater First Baptist Church Sunday school. He served as pastor of the Rock of Ages Baptist Church in Anniston from 1961 to 1964.

Hilbird
Services for James “Jim” M. Hilbird, 84, of 5534 Saks Road, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Weaver Church of Christ with Dewayne McNaughton and William B. Kughn officiating. Burial will follow in Edgemont Cemetery with K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Crematory in charge. The family will receive friends today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Hilbird died Saturday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Hilbird of Saks; a daughter, Rebecca Hilbird of Leeds; and three sisters, Diana Tharp and Rebecca Sullivan, both of Terre Haute, Ind., and Lillie Curtis of Roanoke Rapids, Va.
Pallbearers will be Jason Rainwater, Jeffery Rainwater, Pete Wilkerson, Cecil Vaughn, Lamar Rainwater and Bert Steward.
Mr. Hilbird was a native of Indiana and a resident of Calhoun County since 1957. He was retired from the United States Army and the Anniston Ordnance Depot. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Weaver Church of Christ.

Justice

Mrs. Justice died Friday in Columbus, Ga.

Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery with Clark Memorial Funeral Home in charge. the family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Lane died Saturday at Wedowee Hospital.
Survivors include his mother, Nobie Lane of Wedowee; his wife, Sadie Gwen Lane of California; three daughters, Wandlyn Arwine, Condra Elane Lane and Deadrie Lane, all of Rialto, Calif.; a son, James Lane Jr.; four brothers, Wilson Lane of Chicago, Rev. Wayne Lane of Buffalo, Gerry Lane of Huntsville and Keefe Lane of Woodland; four sisters, Minnie Davis and Deborah Lane, both of Chicago, and Lisa Martin and Donna Terresia Jusab, both of Huntsville; five grandchildren; and a special friend, Jo Ann Hopper of Roanoke. 
Mr. Lane was a 1959 graduate of Wedowee High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a skilled auto body technician.

Graveside services for Suddy J. Gentry Lewallen, 28, of 914 Patterson St., Anniston, will be today at noon at Pine Grove Cemetery with Rev. Foster officiating and Anniston Funeral Service in charge.
Mrs. Lewallen died Thursday.
Survivors include her husband, Timothy Lewallen of Anniston; two daughters, Keisha and Whitney Lewallen, both of Anniston; her parents, James S. and Betty Gentry of Anniston; two sisters, Patricia Ann Gentry and Emily G. Gentry, both of Anniston; and six brothers, Stoney, James Jr., Steve Wayne, Tyler Eugene, Michael Anthony and Grady Gentry, all of Anniston.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Anniston.

Survivors include his wife, Judith Reinhardt Mapp of Wadley; two daughters, Libra Mapp and Abra Mapp, both of Wadley; a son, Ernest Lee Mapp Jr. of Wadley; four sisters, Sara Norred, Hazel Owens, Letha Howard and Marie Gray all of Roanoke; five brothers, Oneal Mapp of Wedowee, Benjamin Mapp of Cusseta, Jerry Mapp of Wadley, and Billy Mapp and Joe Mapp, both of Roanoke.
Mr. Mapp was a lifelong Wadley resident. He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and had been employed with Sherwood Packaging Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emory and Rosie Lee Fincher Mapp; and a brother, Richard Mapp.

Services for Rufus Marable, 76, of Roanoke, will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Christian Memorial Baptist Church, Roanoke, with Revs. Tommie L. Finley and R.L. Heflin officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Clark Memorial Funeral Service in charge. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. from Christian Memorial Baptist Church.
Mr. Marable died Saturday at George H. Lanier Memorial Hospital, Langdale.
Survivors include two brothers, John Marable and Joe Marable, both of Roanoke; and four sisters, Lucille Lee and Alice Allen, both of Detroit, Lois Holliday of Atlanta, and Bobbie Sanders of Louisville, Ky.
Mr. Marable was a native of Roanoke and retired from the General Motors Corporation, Pontiac division. He was a member of Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church.

Pettus

Services for Austin Pettus, 68, of Talladega, will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Talladega Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Synder officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends this evening from 1 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Pettus died Saturday at Citizens Baptist Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Emily Pettus of Talladega; a son, Gregory Pettus of Alexandria, La.; three sisters, Polly Haynes of Ohatchee, Eunice Kerley of Chattanooga and Bertice Shierling of Talladega; a brother, Clarence Pettus of Talladega; and four grandchildren.

Mr. Pettus was a lifelong resident of Talladega. He was a United States Air Force veteran and was employed at Jacksonville Housing Authority.

Survivors include six sons, Auburn Poe, Michael Poe, Richard Poe, and Terry Poe, all of Heflin, Harry Poe of Detroit, and Dennis Poe of Waynesville, Mo.; a daughter, Betty Todorowski of Hampshire, Tenn.; and 12 grandchildren.

Mrs. Poe, a native of Georgia, was a resident of Cleburne County for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mallory Poe.

Services for Lillian Kathleen Ringer, 83, of Cedar Bluff, will be today at 11 a.m. at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Ringer died Saturday.
Survivors include her daughter, Mariam Miller of Anniston; a sister, LaVelle Johnson of Fort Payne; and two grandchildren, Matt and Meg Miller.
Pallbearers will be Dwight Hartline, Wendell Ringer, James Edward Ringer, Jimmy Johnson, James Hartline, David Hartline and Donald Burkhalter.
Mrs. Ringer was a native of Cherokee County, a member of Cedar Bluff First United Methodist Church and a homemaker. She was the daughter of the late James Alexander and Maude Baker Hartline.

Services for Judith Kay Sebolt, 57, of 3425 U.S. Hwy 78 East, Anniston, will be today at 11 a.m. at DeArmanville Baptist Church with Miller Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Sebolt died Saturday at her residence.
Survivors include her husband, William Sebolt Jr. of Anniston; a daughter, Bryan Mallard of Georgia; two sons, Kenneth Randell Kinney of North Carolina and David Alen Kinney of Florida; a sister, Connie Pardue of Kentucky; three brothers, James Wayne Vieten and Bennie Vieten, both of Florida, and Bryce Vieten Jr. of Oxford; her parents, Bryce and Bernice Vieten Sr.; five granddaughters and a grandson.
Mrs. Sebolt was a native of Missouri, a former resident of Florida and an Anniston resident for the past 16 months. She was a Presbyterian.

Mrs. Anderson died Friday at St. Vincents Hospital in Birmingham. 
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Pendergrass of Anniston; four grandchildren, Shirley Siskey, Sue Magouirk, Donna Drummond and Teressa Gross; eight great-grandchildren; and six great great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Pat Siskey, Ralph Magouirk, Cecil Drummond, Steve Gross, Brandt Magouirk, Jeff Gross and Scott Magouirk.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Brown and Steve Sedenik.
Mrs. Anderson was a native and lifelong resident of Anniston. She was a member of Glenn Addie Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Anderson.

Mr. Baker died Tuesday at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane Baker of Anniston; a daughter, Rosa Zinnerman of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be trustees of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of the church.
Mr. Baker was a member and chairman of Deacon Board of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and Superintendent of the Sunday School.

Dorries of Anniston; two sons, Charles Dorries of Huntsville and John Dorries Jr. of Piedmont; four daughters, Beverly Ematrudo of Wallingford, Conn., Carolyn Jessop of Concord, N.C., Ellen Williamson of Kandapolis, N.C., and Ann Marie Prosek of Snellville, Ga.; three sisters, Ella Richter of Birmingham, Clara Moore Casey of Prattville, and Lucille Leathers of Cullman; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for infant Haleigh Christina Blair Fordham will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Happy Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev G.K. Abner officiating.
The infant died June 8 at University Hospital in Birmingham.
Survivors include her mother, Tina Marie Blair Fordham and her father, Allan Lloyd Fordham, both of Ranburne; two half-brothers, Stephen A. Fordham and Samuel H. Fordham, both of Ranburne; a grandfather Ricky Fordham of Montgomery; and a grandmother, Beatrice Flournoy of Ranburne.

Survivors include his daughter, Athena N. Willingham of Birmingham and his grandson, Sam Willingham Jr. of Birmingham.
Mr. Newsome was a native of Talladega and lived in Anniston most of his life. He retired from A.O.D and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Robinson
PELL CITY
Services for Rolanda R. Robinson, 22, of 907 Kings Circle will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Cropwell with pastors W.J. Posey and Maurine Keller officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Zion Church cemetery with Sims Funeral Service in charge.
The processional will leave 907 King’s Circle at 1:30 p.m.
Mr. Robinson died Friday at University Hospital.
Survivors include his mother, Ida S. Robinson of Pell City; a sister, Petra S. Robinson of Birmingham; two brothers, Xavier Robinson of Montgomery and William Robinson of Pell City; a stepsister, Sarah Parker of Pell City; three stepbrothers, Warren Frazier of Cropwell, Billy Bedford and Michael Bedford, both of Pell City; and his grandmother, Ada Mae Smoot of Goodwater.

Shadrick
TALLADEGA
Graveside services for Clarence Samuel Shadrick, 73, of 1340 Mount Olive Circle in Talladega, will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Pine Hill Memorial Park in Talladega with Rev. Bill Huffaker officiating and Usrey Brown Service funeral home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Shadrick died June 9 in El Paso, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Margarita Lozand Shadrick of El Paso, Texas; a brother, Robert Harold Shadrick of Lincoln; and a sister, Louise Nabors of Talladega.
Pallbearers will be James Lawson, Gary Hubbard, Jimmy Shadrick, Mike Shadrick and Sid Gambrell.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the American Legion, VFW, and Friends of McDonalds.
Mr. Shadrick was a native of Talladega and a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion.

Shaw
ANNISTON
Services for Dasiy Elizabetha Shaw, 77, of 1222 Brown Ave. will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church with J. E Merriweather officiating. Burial will be in Eden Hill cemetery with Ervin Funeral Chapel in charge.
Mrs. Shaw died Wednesday at her home. 
Survivors include two sons, Charles A. Harris of Los Angeles, Calif., and Monchef C. Shaw Jr. of Anniston; a brother, Charles E. Davis of Anniston; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be deacons and friends of Friendship Baptist Church.
Mrs. Shaw was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and of the Senior Usher Board.

Webb
ANNISTON
Services for Frankie B. Webb, 82, of 500 Hillyer High Road will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Faith Presbyterian Church with Dr. Craig Childs officiating. Burial will be in Forestlawn Gardens with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory in charge.
Mrs. Webb died Friday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, Lewis Leon Webb of Anniston; a son, Donald G. Webb of Anniston; two sisters, Eva May Nixon of Birmingham and Ellen Inez Cork of Anniston; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be elders of Faith Presbyterian Church.
Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Faith Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Webb was a native of Birmingham and had lived in Anniston 55 years. She was a charter member of Faith Presbyterian Church.
